This is a joyful and respectful moment:
ningo.me is ready for the world!
The last weeks have been very busy with designing, fiddling, re-designing and optimizing the landing page, introduction material, and many small and large usability and feature improvements.
Here are a few tips for you:
- The landing page: go to https://ningo.me (and log out if necessary) to see the brand-new landing page. It concisely describes the platform and transmits its rebel nature.
- The introduction: There’s a whole set of new intro material (log in for these links to get to the right content):
- The overall intro
- The “user stories” of the party girl Emma, the business man Mr. Smith, and the business inquiry of Priscilla Jones.
- The special intros about the referral program, email integration, and the ningo.me currency.
- The “first message”: A lot of the learning curve for ningo.me happens incrementally as someone starts using the service. There is a very first message in the ningo.me inbox after sign-up. It has been simplified and linked to the intro stories and topics. Have a look at it here.
- The Theme: Your color preferences can now be set for every device individually. Go to your profile settings and open up the “Display settings” to choose color theme and font sizes for the device or for your entire account. I personally prefer the “black” theme and large font on my smartphone, while I prefer the “white blue” one on my laptop…
- The icons: Most of the icons are now rendered by your device – which means cristal clear high-resolution icons. The improvement is especially obvious in all those new retina-style devices – and when you zoom up your page.
I look forward to the coming weeks!
