Moral Concepts, Business Models, And Scams

I have promised to share some of the tough points to get across while selling the ningo.me idea, and here’s a next one:

Not everything that mentions the word “money” online is automatically a scam. ningo.me is based on an honest, fair, and transparent business model.

One of the key parts of ningo.me’s vision is to bring value to online activities. To let internet users appreciate each other’s time, expertise, and attention. It does so by linking those aspects of life with money.

Money is the most universal form of value. Its usefulness is most generic. The recipient of money has the largest choice to reuse what he received in return for handing out her gift (attention, expertise, time, etc.).

It seems that it is really late to try to bring the mere concept of value to the online world. Many internet users seem to be so terribly shaped or even traumatized by online scams that they have a hard time recognizing a decent business online when they see one. It seems some even already have an instantaneous reflex in their spinal cord that makes them click away from a web page that talks about earning money.

Ningo.me has no intention whatsoever to do any harm to anyone. Obviously, ningo.me will need to be on the guard from malicious users just like everyone else. But the whole business model of ningo.me is to earn a 10% commission on all payments made via the platform.

And I simply don’t believe in evil. To me, “what goes around comes around“. I’d rather have a peaceful life with my dear and growing family than ripping you or anyone else off. I don’t plan to intentionally load up bad karma, and I have a deep belief in our personal value that will always let us live a good life on this earth.

What do you think?
